Broker's Comments
The sellers have owned their beloved Trader 50 for over 20 years and are now reluctantly selling for health reasons.
It has taken them to France, the Channel Islands, into London and the length and breadth of the English Channel.
The twin Caterpillar 3208 engines look to have been well looked after and started on the button and rumbled smoothly. They were serviced in May 2025.
The interior boasts a stateroom with en suite, a large fore cabin and two midships cabins and second heads. Electric toilets, with fresh water flushing in both of them.
The saloon is spectacular and the galley boasts not only a cooker and fridge but a second fridge freezer and a dishwasher. Entertaining 20 guests would not mean overcrowding!
The woodwork on these boats is always impressive and the owners’ prompt attention to any leaks or condensation around windows has prevented stains that are often found on similar boats.
There is a large fly bridge with a full set of navigation instruments and controls. There is a fly bridge cover available.
The davits hold a hard dinghy with 20hp Mercury outboard.
I think that this Trader 50 is effectively a 4 bedroom detached house that floats!
